Resources
Feng Shui means Wind & Water. Those two words symbolise life essentials... our Wind is our breathing and our our physical bodies are made of 70 % of Water. Keeping the air that we breathe and the liquid we drink the best possible will create a healthy happy and long life.
Feng Shui is mainly known as the art of placement and is often compared to the "acupuncture of your home". It originated in China over 6000 years ago and is very popular and fashionable these days all around the world. Feng Shui is not only about furniture placement inside homes, it includes the study of the land, character analysis and health oriented solutions.
Even though I am often asked to help creating Abundance and Love, there are 9 areas of life where Feng Shui can help.
1. Life Path, Job, Career, Tao, Way.
2. Love, Marriage, Relationships, Partnerships.
3. Health, Family Connections, Respect, Past.
4. Abundance, Wealth, Money, Luck.
5. YOU
6. Helpful People, Travels, Helpers, Clients.
7. Ideas, Creations, Creativity, Children, New Projects.
8. Study, Spirituality, Openness.
9. Fame, Recognition, Well-Being, Acknowledgement
The information that I will give out here is based on the book "Your First Easy Steps to Feng Shui" written by International Feng Shui Master & best selling Author Roseline DELEU who is following the Black Hat School of Feng Shui.
| 4 - Abundance | 9 - Recognition | 2 - Love |
| 3 - Health | 5- YOU | 7 - Creations |
| 8 - Study | 1 - Life Path | 6 - Helpers |
Place this grid onto the scaled plans of your premises aligning 8-1-6 with your front door. Divide your home into 9 equal parts and find out where your various life areas are represented.
Some Feng Shui tips...
Make sure that your front door has that welcome feeling... remove dead and spiky plants and replace them with rounded leafed healthy greens.
1. To enhance your Life Path, Job or Career - simply decorate area '1' with a lovely fountain or picture of water flowing towards the inside of your home.
2. Welcome Love by displaying items in pairs: two bedside tables (one on each side of your bed), pictures of couples rather than single people. Hang a rounded faceted crystal ball in sector '2' of your home, preferably in a window where the sun shines... remove it after 9 days and clean it. Hang then this crystal somewhere else in the home to encourage other things happening in your life.
3. Hang a picture of your ancestors or your full family in sector '3' to have good relationships with your elders and a better health.
4. Feel rich and you will encourage more abundance coming your way. In area '4' display items symbolysing Wealth.
5. It is important to have one recent picture of each people living in your home displayed tastefully.
6. Ready to travel? Put a picture of your dream destination in sector '6' of your home and see what the Universe has in stock for you... amazing things can come up your way in a very short time.
7. A bunch of fresh white flowers will always encourage new ideas and good relationships with children.
8. An empty bowl in sector '8' will allow you to open up to Wisdom.
9. Encourage the red colour in part '9' of your home to be acknowledged and recognised in your field.
